Health and Social Protection Cycle holds first Practices Showcases in cities of Minas Gerais
The Health Social Protection Cycle project held, in the first days of April, the first Practices Showcase “Sharing successful experiences of SUS and SUAS” in the municipalities of Catas Altas, Rio Piracicaba and Santa Bárbara. The showcases are part of the training course of the project and aimed to present practices, knowledge and reflections on the performance of the Unified Health System (SUS) and the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS) in the municipalities.
The showcases sought to value practices that reflect the reality of each territory and strengthen the articulation between health and social assistance – a premise emphasized by the Health Protection Cycle program –, emphasizing the importance of working together between the two public policies to promote access to health, especially for more vulnerable populations.
The training process of the Health Social Protection Cycle is based on the Shared Construction of Local Solutions methodology, which encourages participants, health and social care professionals, to adopt a collaborative and inclusive approach, valuing local knowledge and promoting engagement with communities. This allows you to plan actions and strategies considering not only the challenges, but also the resources and potential available in your territories.
