    Davi Gabriel Bastos da Silva wins gold medal and sets new state record in Copa Brasil Loterias Caixa of Race Walking 

    Vitória, ES – The athletics team of the Knowledge Serra Station shone in the Copa Brasil Loterias Caixa of Race Walking, held recently. With the participation of 39 students from the institution, the national competition, promoted by the Brazilian Athletics Confederation, brought together 117 athletes from all over the country. Among the highlights, the young Davi Gabriel Bastos da Silva shone by winning the gold medal in the U-18 category and setting a new state record for the race.

    Davi Gabriel showed talent and determination when facing opponents. His performance took him to the top of the podium, guaranteeing him not only the title of champion in the 10km U18 Race Walking, but also the opportunity to represent Brazil in the prestigious South American Championships of Race Walking.

    In addition to Davi’s individual achievement, the team at Knowledge Serra Station also achieved significant results. The men’s U16 and men’s U18 athletes achieved first place on the podium, while the women’s U16 team won the runner-up, marking a historic moment for the sport in Espírito Santo.

    The director of the institution emphasized the positive impact of sport on the citizen formation of students, highlighting that the results obtained by the athletes are inspiring examples of overcoming and transformation, both for themselves and for their communities.

    The Copa Brasil Loterias Caixa of Race Walking was a unique opportunity for the young athletes of the Serra Knowledge Station to experience a high-level sports environment and interact with renowned competitors in the sport.
