The Trails of Literacy project helped us a lot in the classroom because it came to rescue the relationship of Maranhão culture so that we can live and learn together with students in the classroom. The almanacs distributed by the project are complemented with training that helps students learn. The content of the flour house, for example, is the daily life of our community and it was a very good experience that the students knew how to prepare the flour, providing the appreciation of their own culture.
